List of K-Pop groups that have won at the “37th Japan Golden Disc Awards”. Excellent BTS won 4 awards.

The winners of the 37th Japan Gold Disc Awards were recently announced, and once again K-Pop’s global influence was evident when multiple K-Pop idols were on the list of awarded artists.

Here are the five K-Pop groups awarded at the 37th Japan Gold Disc Awards!


“Best 3 New Artist (Asia)”

Jellyfish Entertainment group VERIVERY officially debuted in 2019 and made their Japanese debut in June 2022. The group was named one of the three best new artists at the 37th Japan Gold Disc Awards.

2. Kep1er

“Song of the Year by Streaming” (Asia)

“Best 3 New Artist” (Asia)

Kep1er made their debut in January 2022 after the members competed to join the group on the idol competition program Girls Planet 999.

They made their debut in Japan in August 2022, and they earned “Song Of The Year By Streaming (Asia)” for “WA DA DA” and were also named one of the best three new artists.

3. IVE

“Best 3 New Artist (Asia)”

“New Artist of the Year (Asia)”

IVE debuted in Korea in December 2021 and in Japan in October 2022. The popular 4th-gen girl group also won two awards at the 37th Japan Gold Disc Awards. They were named one of the three “Best New Artists” and “New Artist Of The Year.”


“Best 3 Albums (Asia)”

“Album Of The Year (Asia)”

SEVENTEEN debuted in 2015 and made their official Japanese debut in 2018. They’ve built an incredible fanbase in Japan and won three awards at the 37th Japan Gold Disc Awards. Two of their albums, SEVENTEEN JAPAN 1ST EP ‘DREAM’ and Face The Sun, won “Best 3 Albums (Asia)” and “Album Of The Year (Asia)” for SEVENTEEN JAPAN 1ST EP ‘DREAM.’

5. BTS’s Jungkook and Charlie Puth

“Song of the Year by Streaming (Western)”

BTS‘s Jungkook and American singer-songwriter Charlie Puth collaborated on the hit song “Left & Right” in 2022. The catchy song earned them “Song Of The Year By Streaming (Western).”

“Song of the Year by Download (Asia)”

“Music Video of The Year (Asia)”

“Best 3 Albums (Asia)”

“Best Artist (Asia)”

BTS debuted in 2013 and made their official Japanese debut in December 2014. The group took home four awards from the 37th Japan Gold Disc Awards. They won “Song Of The Year By Download (Asia)” for their latest title track, “Yet to Come,” off of their album PROOF, which was named one of the “Best 3 Albums.” They also won “Best Artist (Asia) and took home the award for “Music Video Of The Year (Asia) for BTS 2021 MUSTER SOWOOZO
